This sixth book in the Jack and Jenny Mystery Series, like the previous books, finds Jack and Jenny Carlton in Hong Kong again.  The suspense starts on page one as the reader is introduced to three evil men who are planning the theft of a sacred gold dragon from the local temple.  Planning the theft is easy.  The big problem is avoiding the effects of an ancient curse on anyone who steals it.  Unknowingly, Jack and Jenny and their friends soon find themselves enmeshed in the mysterious disappearance of the sacred gold dragon and that leads to a wild ferry chase between ports of Hong Kong and Macao.

The four friends rely upon God to help them out of the predicament they find themselves in when their ferry is hijacked and they are kidnapped.  This story will strengthen faith in God for all children as they move through exciting episodes with their four friends.  This is another page turner that will keep children on the edge of their seats until the final page.  It is a story that will be read over and over again.

Smugglers In Hong Kong          Book 1

In this first book, Jack and Jenny, the Carlton twins, visit Hong Kong with their parents. Mr. Carlton's company has a large department store in the city. The twins quickly become fast friends of Tim and Ruth Chen who are the children of the Hong Kong branch manager. While visiting a famous floating restaurant, Jack stumbles on a brown pouch during a disturbance taking place as they leave the restaurant. When they reach their home, Jack and Jenny are shocked to discover the stolen Orient Diamond in the pouch. The police set up an elaborate and dangerous trap to capture the thieves who want to smuggle the huge diamond out of Hong Kong. Jack and Jenny figure prominently in the arrest of the thieves. Jack is in the police patrol car which finally catches a second smuggler who attempted to double-cross his boss. This spine-tingling story will keep young readers on edge from beginning to end and will teach strong Christian principles throughout the story. Parents are exceptionally pleased that their children have access to a very exciting book which gets them back to reading.
