“CHURCH IN CHINA” ADDS “INC” TO TITLE

Here is the news many have been waiting for! Our web site www.ChurchInChina.com has been attracting an increasing number of viewers from all over the world. The amazing thing is that many of these viewers are in Asia and an exceptional number log on right from China! With this tremendous surge during the past year we felt God leading us to take a new step forward for an enlarged ministry to China. Recently, we were granted incorporation as CHURCH IN CHINA, INC and in September, we received our tax-exempt status as a non-profit religious organization! That calls for a great big “Amen” as this ministry has just taken a giant step forward in impacting China for Christ.

YOUR PRAYERS ARE NEEDED NOW MORE THAN EVER

This new step forward brings with it an awesome responsibility to faithfully serve China with all the energy we can muster. To do that, your prayers are urgently needed because Satan opposes any Gospel advance. However, Church In China, Inc places us squarely on the frontline of warfare in China as we seriously engage in helping train Back To Jerusalem workers. Some have already moved into restricted lands of the 10/40 Window where there are 60 unreached and extremely poor countries on the way back to Jerusalem. Others are starting the special practical training by learning another language, learning a job that will help support them in restricted lands, and learning how to trust God in all circumstances. Pray that those in restricted areas or hostile areas will be strengthened by the Lord and given grace and wisdom to carry on. Pray for some who are experiencing physical difficulties at this time. Pray for faculty to be able to communicate Biblical truths in a convincing manner. Pray for the financial needs of this training ministry.

This also opens up new steps of faith as we give our financial support to ministries we have reported on in the past, but which received limited financial assistance from us. Over the past few years, First Alliance Church Orlando has been a very strong partner with us by accepting funds for our China projects. Without them and the extra effort and work of their church treasurer, we could not have accomplished anything. But because of their partnership, the church in Wuchang where we first served, received funds to install the required elevator for opening the church, some 50-60 dozen pairs of goats were provided to poor farmers planting new churches, new church construction has opened up great training centers for committed workers in the missionary movement, and literature and publishing projects have all prospered.

From now on, however, you may send your prayerful contributions directly to us with checks made out to
Church In China, Inc.
Mail them to 1622 Calvin Circle, Kissimmee, FL 34746.

Church In China, Inc commits itself to forwarding 100% of your gift to your chosen project. Undesignated gifts or those designated to Operation Outreach will continue to be used to meet operating expenses such as web site charges and maintenance and limited office expenses. Here are the present ministries we are concerned about.

GANSU BIBLE COLLEGE. In the last issue of China Clippings, we were challenged to pray for this fledgling Bible training center in Gansu. This school is at the stepping off point for the westward push through the Muslim lands of the 10/40 Window. Teachers receive a mere pittance to live on even though they could command a much better salary elsewhere. The students are learning lessons of faith and trust in the God who never fails in preparation for extreme ministry and sacrifice. Some funds have already been sent through a recognized and responsible Mission for the American worker who visits the school to encourage both faculty and students.

CHURCH AND BIBLE SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION. In the recent earthquake in Sichuan, many churches were destroyed. The people meet outdoors under a canvass as the only protection from the elements. Our western contacts report a fervor in the people for Christian teaching never before experienced. Makeshift buildings are underway to protect the people from the cold and snow soon coming to this mountainous region. Pray earnestly that these growing congregations will not be molested by the police and that the fruit will continue to be harvested.

EMERGENCY RELIEF. Thank you to all who generously sent earthquake relief. A Baptist Church joined us as a partner and sent almost $350.00 to help the destitute people in this tragic hour of need. Many others also were part of this urgent relief ministry that has been opening hearts through the love of Christ expressed in these gifts. The need is extremely great and will continue for years as the people attempt to recover. Pray for the thousands of parents who lost their only child as hundreds and hundreds of children died in collapsed buildings. China’s drastic population control policy of one child per couple has brought devastation to these families. Pray for pastors and workers who are ministering to these broken-hearted parents.

SEMINARIAN LIBRARY PROJECT. A dear friend, T. has had a unique ministry in China as he visits seminaries and Bible Schools to encourage the students. An urgent ministry God has laid on his heart is to provide a set of seven basic books in Chinese to every graduate which will enable them to be more effective preachers of the gospel. Dozens of graduates have already received their set and are rejoicing in this precious treasury of inspiration and blessing. Pray that the church will be strengthened because of these books. Pray for T. as he makes periodic trips to these schools and visits to the graduates in their new ministry places. Pray that there will be sufficient funds for every graduate to receive these books.

THE ALLIANCE RADIO MINISTRY TO CHINA. When the Sichuan earthquake struck China a few months ago, Alliance Radio in Hong Kong set a goal to raise US $128,000.00 to provide hand-held radios for earthquake victims so that they could be kept abreast of relief information and assistance. In addition, special programs have been prepared to help the people find their way to Jesus and to find the comfort that He alone can give. Thus far, $92,544.00 has been received and that means seven thousand households have access to the gospel radio programs and information. That means approximately $13.00 is needed per radio to get it into the hands of a needy family. We urgently ask that you pray for these households as they listen to the gospel. Pray that hearts will be opened to Jesus and His comfort. Pray about your part in placing radios into the hands of these refugees and displaced persons. God bless you for whatever part you can have in reaching these desperately needy people at this time.

OPERATION OUTREACH. This fund is a vital part of our goal which enables us to send 100% of any gift to the projects of your choice. Many thanks to those who have become regular supporters of this important and vital fund of the outreach to China which covers necessary expenses of operation. Pray for Rev. Jonathan Bollback, my son, who volunteers his expertise as web master for our web site, and is now the treasurer of Church In China, Inc. He does all this in addition to his thriving ministry as pastor of Community Alliance Church in Winter Springs, Florida. Pray for Rev. Robert Heuslien, our Board Member at large, who adds depth and wisdom to our Board. Pray for me as I continue preparing China Clippings. And pray for each of our spouses who joyfully support us in these projects for God’s glory.

PRAY AND ASK GOD HOW HE WANTS YOU INVOLVED

Take a few minutes to consider how you can impact the world’s largest nation. You can encourage us in this work through your prayers and your tax-exempt gifts. Cut off the form below and send it back. If sending a check, please make it out to Church In China, Inc. Many, many thanks.
